Hello, I am Karla
Some may say that I am “free spirited, a go getter and a tad bit sassy”. My mom says that when I was growing up, I was an independent child that when I set my mind on doing something that I needed to do it on my own and my way. She says “me do it” was my favorite saying. I guess I still say that just in a more tactful way.
I grew up in small town Alberta, graduating from high school and completing my Business Management Diploma.
After many years, I found myself in a job that had me working over 50 hours a week. I was tired, depressed, living pay cheque to pay cheque, had no free time, no free money, and no hope for my future. I had to get permission from my boss to take days off work for appointments, vacation and sick days. I also had to ask permission to be able to eat lunch and go to the washroom. This was not how I wanted to live my life.
While I was coming to this realization of what I really want in life, I was introduced to a business opportunity. This opportunity gave me hope for my future. This meant I needed to change my mind set and change the way I always have done things. I immediately started my personal growth journey which meant seeing a psychologist, learning to better myself every day, and most importantly to learn about being a great leader. I started to read books, listen to audios, go to the gym, journaling, learning about business, finances, budgets, audits, record keeping, going to business conferences and finding mentors that could guide me along the way.
Through many trials and tribulations, I have decided to get with the times and take my business to an entirely different level. To inspire as many people as I can, my business has to be on-line and mobile. I have learnt new online platforms and found new mentors to make this happen.
I am taking control of my life and inspiring others to do the same. My future goals and dreams are to be able to build my business full time, be job free, financially free, be able to travel when I want and for as long as I want, to have multiple income streams and control my time on my terms. My all-time goal is to be sitting on the beach in front of the ocean, listening to the waves with a feeling of peace.
